Booked it, packed it .... !

Finally! 3 days left in the UAE and we are pretty much there. Had some hairy moments packing the container, trying to get a 250kg quad bike 1.5 meters up into a container! Luckily we had enlisted the help of Sarah and some muscle from my old company to make things easier! Sarah captured the magical moment in a video as it really was unbelievable!

We had an awesome farewell party on Friday 15th February, organised by Sarah and Alex and hosted at Wendy's! It was suitably messy, with us stragglers only heading home at around 2am! 

Unfortunately David sprained his ankle really badly and is bruised from mid calf down to his toes! He's been such a star, hobbling around still carrying, moving, packing and sorting everything on his very sore, bruised and swollen ankle.

We were SO very excited that our friends Ian and Jess adopted our little rescue kitty Foxy (full name: Foxy Bat Cat Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road). It is such relief to know she has gone to a household as mad as our own, and that they will love her quirkiness as much as we do. We think she already prefers them though ..... pfffft!

So this is it from the UAE. 5 years and sooo many memories. Thank you to ALL of you for making it the place that it is. We're going to miss you lot - crazy as you are. Don't break your promises - we can't wait to check you on the flipside!
